    https://www.cnn.com/2024/04/04/politics/bill-clinton-memoir-life-after-white-house/index.html

The publisher said that Clinton will touch on “crucial events of the 21st century,” including the Iraq War, the Haiti earthquake, culture wars, the elections of 2008 and 2016 and the January 6, 2021, insurrection, as well as discussing political moments involving his wife, Hillary Clinton.

“Clinton also weighs in on the unprecedented challenges brought on by a global pandemic, ongoing inequality, a steadily warming planet, and authoritarian forces dedicated to weakening democracy at home and across the globe,” the press release says.

Clinton’s book “My Life,” published in 2004, detailed his journey from Arkansas to the White House, and it sold more than 400,000 copies on the first day it was available.

    On Jefffrey Epstein:

The former president also discusses his connection to Epstein, claiming the now deceased, convicted pedophile’s private jet had been used to support his foundation’s work. He denies any knowledge of Epstein’s crimes, of course. “I had always thought Epstein was odd but had no inkling of the crimes he was committing,” he writes. “He hurt a lot of people, but I knew nothing about it, and by the time he was first arrested in 2005, I had stopped contact with him.”

But not with Ghislene, who attended Chelsea's wedding in 2010 because that's totally different.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

“Bill Clinton is an extraordinarily good liar. “

I forget who said it, but how in hell can he expect to be believed when all evidence would suggest otherwise.

Another comment I heard about President Clinton was something like

"He has the morals of a alley cat, but if I needed one person to give a speech on something, he would be my pick"

(Honestly, I have not heard a lot of his speeches, but the brief ones I listened to seemed pretty good - just from a style method)

A I think of it, I believe it was Charles Krauthammer who said it.

Ah, the halcyon days when morals didn't matter.

Another way to say that might be ‘acting presidential’ and yes, those were halcyon days as well.

Remember when conservatives were positive that Clinton was going to become Secretary General of the UN?

Here's a New York City story. There are certain people when they were out on the street, or standing somewhere that--in a crowd when you just randomly passed by, a light just SHOWN upon them. Harrison Ford was like that, on the other hand Paul Newman was just a short Jewish guy, Tom Curise has that, same with Tony Bennett. The best ever was Bill Clinton. In a crowd that guy just glowed in the dark.
