Tonight was clean out the frig. We did cook some field peas and cornbread, but everything else was leftovers.
The smorgasbord included...
- Steak & gravy
- Spinach meatloaf
- Tomato soup
- Mashed potatoes
There was a leftover bean soup, but it may have been sketchy. The outside dogs woofed it.

Leftover mashed potatoes? How do you reheat them? Anything else needed to reconstitute them? Milk or something?

Spinach meatloaf
Do tell? If I put it into a different shape, Mrs. George might just oblige.
Have to ask the wife about the recipe. I do know the meatloaf had spinach in it, with bacon aand barbecue sauce on the top.

Mashed Potatoes
Store in frig in covered dish. Take out of frig long enough to kind of come to room temp, maybe 1-2 hours depending on size of dish. Preheat the oven to around 350, put a bit of butter on top of potatoes and bake covered 15-20 minutes or so. You want them hot to the middle.
When pull them, eyeball and add just a hair more butter or a bit of milk (maybe both) or cream, and stir enough to blend it in.
She'll have to find the recipe for the meatloaf, but it used a pound of meat, bread crumbs, eggs, chili powder, salt&pepper, spinach and shredded mozzarella. Barbecue sauce on top to taste and bacon because.

Thanks. I’ve nuked them before with suboptimal results.
