The Nasty Truth

In a society, women have what rights men will give them.

From Wiki: Most anthropologists hold that there are no known societies that are unambiguously matriarchal.
-
the modern West is probably the closest Earth has ever come to matriarchal societies. Anybody who thinks seriously about culture will acknowledge that we've become more and more feminized over the past decades. (Of course if you say that out loud to the masses, you will get laughed out of the conversation as an incel.)

Wasn't there supposed some Amazon tribe that was run by women?
-
1980’s Britain was run by a woman. A fucking scary one. She also wore less makeup than the US President at the time.
-
I remember her. Made Boadicea look like a Girl Guide.

I don't think that's true anymore. Too many great equalizers.

Yep. I was going to say don't tell my wife that.

There are equalizers, but they really don't equalize. Don't get me wrong, women certainly have their talents and some can be as vicious and violent as men, but advancing civilization is what leads to women's rights.

FIFY. I really don't think it's true anymore. It's how we got to where we are now but that's it. Now, women can shoot and blow things up same as any man.

Ask the women in Afghanistan about their rights and get back to me.

You might as well say that non-religious people only have rights because the religions granted it to them, which isn't true either.
Nobody has any rights in Afghanistan other than the ruling religious class, and if any of them step out of line it would also likely be goodnight, Vienna.

They never crossed step 1.

Therein lies the rub.
At any given point, you're three days away from society starting to crumble in any urban area.
