The anesthesiologist for my wife's recent colonoscopy walked in during preoperative, and they chatted about grandkids and when he might be retiring.
The only time we see this doc is at the local ambulatory day surgery. And we know the other gas passer better than him.
Well over 30 times sedated, between the two of them, over many years. When the docs become like family, that's seeing the doc too much.
