Turning Japanese?

There used to be a restaurant in Chicago area called Hackney. It was a place that had really good burgers served on black bread, fantastic onion rings that were in the shape of a brick, and an assortment of beers. There were three locations in the Chicago area, two on the north side, and one down south about 8 miles south of where I live.
I guess it went out of business a couple of years ago. I had occasion to drive past the location of the southern one this morning. It looks like it has been transformed into a Japanese restaurant. In an effort to make the architecture look more Japanese, the new management made some additions.
Yeah, those additions have a bit of a Japanese flavor to them, but it still looks like a burger and beer joint to me.

One of the reasons magats voted for Trump, is because they think all restaurants should be American food restaurants. They expect Trump to tear that restaurant down and build a McDonalds.
I say this in my official capacity of TNCR's Magat-whisperer. I know them, better than they know themselves. I will lay bare their true selves.
