Just wondering if it's a good decision to take a cabinet post.

Stefanik probably has a stable seat that she could hang on to for as long as she wants.

Ditto Rubio. How long has this guy been senator? 12 years?

If you have a (presumably) stable job in the House or the Senate, would you risk it for a assuredly term-limited appointment to the Cabinet?

I guess that, after your job expires, there are many private sector jobs available to you, but still...

The outcomes for those who took cabinet positions in the previous Trump administration have not been reassuring.

Stefanik has nothing to lose. It will raise her profile a lot.

And SoS is a big deal. I would leave the Senste for that. But I see your point.

Am thinking Stefanik will prove to be a good choice as the UN Ambassador. Haley had little foreign policy experience too but impressively rose to the occasion during her tenure. Stefanik will surely do the same. She’s aggressive and will not tolerate for a second mendacious nonsense from the likes of that Kremlin hood, Nebenzya, or the arrogance of the Iranians and many of the Arab envoys.

          Elbows up!
