                  An electrical vehicle may be 20% to 30% heavier than an equivalent gas powered vehicle. That's an extra 20% to 30% of the weight of the normal Beast being flown by the Air Force when the POTUS plans to travel.

                  Then there is the matter of charging infrastructure. You want the Air Force to haul around extra batteries, extra electricity generators, or only fly the EV Beast only to places with compatible charging stations?

                      Considering the beast weighs 20,000 lb that's a lot of extra weight. However, considering it's flown on a C-17 Globemaster, it's probably within spec even at the higher weight. C-17 is rated at about 170,000 lb.

                      Something tells me that the USAF and SS could come up with a way of charging the beast while it's on the airplane.
