He was totally cleared in the investigation, he says.
So why not release her from the NDA?

Because the NDA is bought and paid for, and because the salacious story is only going to be given oxygen by such maneuvers? Her allegations are in the police report anyway, what else is there to say?

Excellent reason to release her from the NDA and show the public he has nothing to hide.
Or… does he???

You can’t actually think an innocent guy would be well advised to lift the NDA. I guess you must be trolling. But if you actually believe that, please take us through the advantageous scenario for him that takes place after the NDA is lifted.

Of course it’s trolling.
How often do you pay people off and get them to sign an NDA when you’ve done nothing wrong?

Remember how Larry actually believed that Trump didn’t have sex with Stormy Daniels, he was just rolled over in an extortion scheme? I think he went as far as saying it was ‘proven’ that they didn’t have sex.

If you believe it, then answer my question. Describe the advantageous scenario that plays out after he lifts the NDA. Assume he is innocent.
You think there have never been settlements and NDAs offered by innocent accused people?
Sorry I don’t mean to add to the backlog of questions you won’t answer. I will stop there.

I don’t he’s innocent. Hence the troll.

So you think he forcibly raped the woman or drugged her and raped her while she was unconscious. You think that fits all the data best. That’s fascinating.

To say I don’t think he’s innocent doesn’t mean I have a theory on what precisely happened.

For some reason, this statement made me smile.
Dr. Bhattacharya will work ...... to make important discoveries that will improve Health, and save lives.
Sounds like something from a school essay

But seriously, not his worst choice. Someone with both medicine and economics background could (could!) bring refreshing change to the prioritization of the role.
He probably knows enough not to buy into the ‘NIH doesn’t need to fund research because private sector is better at that’ absurdity.

Better than his Surgeon General…What exactly is the hierarchy in these public health roles?

Surgeon General is a bully pulpit.
NIH is a huge grant-making organization that is the world’s premiere funder of medical research.

Yes. We're applying to the NIH now to get a system I implemented into their genetics initiative. If that happens I will have piece of cake megabuck consulting gig as long as I want it.
