How does a partial term affect term limits?

If this presidency does well economically, we may well have 12 straight years of MAGA. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves.

    Education is extremely important.

WHy is he a ascending star?

My question is maybe worded wrong, as I understand he is, but it seems to me that his position is above his "resume".

I have seen it happen in work situations. Somebody gets promoted too quickly so that their responsibilities and the requirements of the job are greater than their current abilities.

Doesnt always happen, but frequently enough.

I am curious as to why President Trump chose him? Based on history, he must have come across as someone who will "fall in line"

Vance's messaging wasn't always consistent with Trump's on the campaign trail. He was not chosen because he's a yes man. He was chosen because he is smart, ideologically resonant with Maga, and young. I think most of us, including Trump, have been pleasantly surprised at how well he's taken to it. He can absolutely win the presidency if this four years works out well in the eyes of the electorate.

          Education is extremely important.

I thought there was a 10-year max. Too lazy to look it up now.

You’re right. If you take more than two years of the previous presidency you can’t run a second time.

              You were warned.

It's just going to feel like 30 years.

Heard a guy interviewed the other day who was around Trump a good bit during the last Trump Administration.

He said what surprised him most about Trump, was how many people he wanted to talk to...Waiters, janitors, advisors, TV personalities, etc. He'd listen and sometimes he'd argue with them.

And yes, Trump is usually convinced he's right, especially after he makes up his mind. But he does like input, even when he disagrees with it.

I hope you are right, but one data point does not prove a theory.

I dont think his campaign was a whole lot different from the first two. So, I am not sure the way he will pick personnel will be different.
