Very sincere. Which means he sincerely buys into anti-Trump narratives, and those narratives make him feel feelings. Sincerely.

But, his old Man Show colleague Adam Carolla continues to make the media rounds as a conservative-adjacent celebrity comedian. There are actually choices, and I trust that Mr Kimmel has a certain psychology that tends towards sanctimony. Sincere, sobby, sanctimony. He's shown that side of himself plenty, and I'm sure he has gotten lots of positive reinforcement for it. His producers absolutely love it when he gets sobby.
