Aaight, I'm calling it now..

You’ll get both.

GOP sweep. I'm off to bed.
Good game, Jolly, Mik, George, Horace, others.
See you on the field tomorrow.
It wasn't the game I wanted. But I suppose it turned out as well as could be hoped. We won't have to hear about election cheating for a while. At least from the GOP.

In fact they should totally update their priors, right? I mean all that talk about massive fraud, Chavez-backed voting machines, dark ops in Philly and Atlanta printing up as many votes as they need after counting the GOP votes, etc... Clearly that was false, they'll realize that they were wrong all along, right? Right?
Right?
-
Nope.
The GOP hired an army of lawyers and have already won some suits this election. They also mounted a much more vigorous polling station observation.
They were prepared to stop the steal before the fact, not after.
Having said that, we still have election problems. Florida looks like the benchmark we need to strive for...

We all know there was no big conspiratorial election fraud. Trump's numbers across blue states a wild. Not sure if these are accurate, but:
Change from 2020 to 2024:
NY: D+23 to D+10
NJ: D+16 to D+4
IL: D+17 to D+8
CT: D+20 to D+10
I doubt the GOP mounted massive efforts in NY and IL, but the result was massively different.
Seriously though, those numbers are amazing.

It was mostly cities. Trump actually won Miami Dade…

I found it surprising that it was the first time he won it. Cubans vote GOP.

Best line today:
“I haven’t seen a man beat a woman so badly since the Paris Olympics.”

I’ve had a theory for a while that political ad spends have had little or no bearing on the last three Presidential elections. Thanks to the internet, social media, and the nonstop regular media, you don’t need to spend money to get your message out there. At least in a Trump campaign… This chart kind of speaks to that…
-
I heard last night that team Kamala spent 3x what team Trump spent, on ads, throughout the campaign. Not sure how true that is, but it seems true that the democrats spent significantly more. But not all publicity costs anything. They were so unconfident about their candidate, that they wouldn't let her go on Rogan for free. And because she wouldn't go on Rogan, of course Walz can't show her up and go on, even though I'm sure he would have otherwise.

So… We’re going forward with Project 2025,right…
