"I'm gay"

I imagine the biography will include stories about the sexual abuse she suffered as a child.

Best comment: "If you’re gay and really worried about accidentally making a baby, aren’t you gaying wrong?"
One can be gay and worried about someone else accidentally making a baby.
The worrying may be altruistic.Reading comprehension failure.

Who is this person?
I told Mrs. George that I have no idea who she is. A model?
Why is her statement of any consequence to her endorsement of the Harris campaign?
Her endorsement, for me, at least, holds the same weight as Springsteen, Gaga, Lizzo, Ford...
I never understood celebrity endorsements. Are people really swayed by these? If so, their right to vote should be rescinded, just as a matter of principle.

I suppose some people are swayed by celebrity endorsements.
Celebrity endorsement seems quite alien to me and I cannot recall whether it is practiced here to any noticeable extent. If it is I have certainly never taken any notice of it. Nor do I know anyone who has. Don’t get me wrong though, there are third party endorsements but they are normally the usual highly politicised lobby groups like the Assembly of First Nations, trade unions and cash rich industry associations. Sometimes professional associations, like medical Doctors, will endorse a one policy over another, but that is the extent of it.

Who is this person?
Actress; in my estimation talented and good looking, disciplined and scandal free. Quite like her work in “Kick Ass” and “Neighbors 2.”
Why is her statement of any consequence to her endorsement of the Harris campaign?
Nothing inherent, likely of no consequence had the NY Post not published it.
