That’s a band from 89th Land, St Paul. They’re on CBS Saturday. Singing this horrible soft rock hipster song named Paranoid, not to be confused with the fine song from Black Sabbath. The drummer could easily be replaced with a drum machine for all his contribution. The lyrics are essentially oh me oh my, my feelings are so confusing. If this is the mental state of mid 20s kids we are in trouble.

Kids today are mostly ignoring that shit, they're walking around wearing and listening to anything from Black Sabbath, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana and Led Zepp.
Which is beyond strange. That would be like kids in the 60s promoting Glenn Miller, Dixieland Jazz and barbershop quartets. But that's how bad modern music is.

I can verify that. The boy jams stuff I saw in concerts at his age. But then again, somebody is listening to the new stuff.

Pretty much nobody is.
And the labels know it. That's why they're spending about $5 on IP protection for every $1 in R&D. Which is unprecedented, but they know damn well they no longer know how to cultivate new music and so they've changed their business model.

Same here. The Beatles and Rolling Stones are the top bands with our teen. Really likes Johnny Cash too.
Not aware any new stuff on his playlist.
