The election might cause distress!

Maybe TNCR should consider making counseling available for our members.
Jerry Seinfeld criticizes kids' old NY school for giving ‘distressed’ students the day after the election off
"This is why the kids hated it," Seinfeld said of elite New York private school
"Emotionally distressed" students at the New York City private school Jerry Seinfeld formerly sent his kids will be able to take the day after the election off, prompting harsh criticism from the comedian.
In addition, no homework will be assigned on Election Day and no student assessments will be given on Wednesday, the New York Times reported. Psychologists will also be available during the week to provide counseling.

I've told the story before of the lady I worked with in 2016 who, the day after Trump's election, engaged in some cathartic outrage with me before a meeting, assuming I was as distraught as literally everybody else she'd ever met or ever hoped to meet. Her slam dunk of a point was that her 9 year old son cried at the results. Of course I immediately knew that that only meant that she had programmed her son to cry at the results, and so he cried at the results. That's how that works. But those 9 year old boy tears? Sincere. Those were sincere tears. I hope he'll be better able to handle it this time around, should the unthinkable happen once again.

Very goofy. Next Wednesday, the sun will come up, the trains will run, the grocery stores will open, etc. no matter who wins the election.
