Nate's gut says Trump will win...

Yep, read that. It feels like Trump should win. He’s never polled this well before, but I am beginning to really think there is a big problem with the polls, and can’t put my finger on whether it’s an error in Trump’s favor or Kamala’s. The fact that there are no outlier polls. That all of the polls are within the margin of error and so damn similar is statistically improbable and troubling.
I’m not going to put my house on the line on who wins, but I will put up a bottle of moderately priced whiskey that whoever wins, it will be a bigger win than people are expecting, over a polling margin of error.

Again, to the Rogan interview...Trump said he's feeling pretty good about the election, but he absolutely doesn't trust the polling data.

Kamala is a really horrible candidate - hard to pull the lever for her.
Is Harris more horrible than Trump as a candidate?
In terms of running a campaign or in terms of policy?

Looks like at least half of the country will be saying “Yes. Yes, she is.”
And it’s your fault.

Yes - Kamala is an absolute nobody. Many voters might find Trump crass, shallow, <choose your objectionable adjective>, etc. - but he is seen as a leader.
This is not a personal opinion, I think it's the political reality.

You know, maybe its the avalanche of shit that he's gone through over the past decade. I'd say most of it brought on by himself. But still - he's gone through shit like no one I know... and.. I dunno... maybe Americans like a fighter.
There's something there, I can't put my finger on it. There's obviously something there.

I go back to what Ben Shapiro said. "Trump is a mud monster. The more mud you throw at him, the bigger he gets".
I don't know if Trump wouldn't have been pushed very hard in the nominating process by Haley or DeSantis, if not for all the Dem-generated lawfare and shenanigans. I think it helped him a lot. American are basically a fair people...At least most of them.

@George-K said in Nate's gut says Trump will win...:
She's better at having celebrities appear at rallies and not having them perform.
She's better at putting 30,000 people into a stadium that has a 20,656 (maybe 22,039) capacity.
It's all about the Beyonce...

I still think Trump never actually expected to win in 16. A fair amount of what he was doing was something of an act. Nobody was more floored that he won than himself. He maintained the character and paid off a few debts he felt he owed to conservatives.
This time, I kinda feel like he’s trying to find the balance between the character, and his real moderate Democrat self. He is at heart a Bill 92 guy.

Yeah, me too. (Re Nate’s gut)

This time Trump has to win.
It is written.

Stop and consider this little bit of pure brilliance by our current VP.
In a coldly calculated move for best effect in an extremely tight race, she chose to forego attending a very important event for Catholics (who represent 23% of registered voters, have traditionally supported Dems, but are feeling pushed out of their party by the abortion push as well as the refusal to allow religious exemptions to church hospitals) who were extremely insulted by a very blasphemous video by her surrogate ridiculing one of their most sacred rites… But rather than attending their charity dinner and try to make amends, she decides to send a video that lampoons and belittles the Catholic School Girl stereotype all because she didn’t want to upset the LGBTQ community (that represents 3% of the voting population and don’t really have a choice but to support the progressive). What magnificent tactical brilliance.
In another demonstration of her keen wits and ability to negotiate through contentious issues, she has referenced the attacks in Gaza as a genocide, upsetting many Jews (representing ~ 3% of voting Americans) to not upset the radical population (~.3% of the population) while also verbally committing to further military support for Israel, so long as they don’t actually use it. GENIUS!
This woman has demonstrated that she is unfit to be President of the United States.
