Those who cheered as J-6 American prisoners were locked in solitary for 18 months without trial, now suddenly fight tooth and nail for foreign terrorists’ "due process". — Buck Sexton

      A few comments:

      1. I don't blame them for wanting A/C in their delivery vehicles. Not down here.
      2. I can see where EVs make sense for city delivery.
      3. I'd still like to see the USPS use something like the Honda Cub for urban mail delivery. Super cheap to buy and run. Can't deliver packages on one, though.
      4. USPS has an OT problem. People today simply will not work turn-around routes and put in 12 hours a day, every day. USPS needs to can some management and hire more letter carriers. It would cost the same thing, yet deliver better service.

Agree. Something like that (and school buses and garbage trucks) seem to be perfect. They are not in operation all the time. They have a large downtime for recharging. They do a lot of starts and stops, etc.

In Taiwan, most of the mail is delivered on motorcycles. Easy to maneuver, etc.
