These guys are busting their butts in North Carolina...

    https://www.samaritanspurse.org/disaster/hurricane-helene/

From what I've heard, they are currently the most organized disaster relief NGO in North Carolina. Probably because their HQ is up around Boone.

There are also a lot of local churches providing a good bit of relief. Sometimes a bit unorganized or a little inefficient, they have the advantage of very close community contacts.

Lastly, there are some groups that are currently holding back on their relief efforts. These are primarily groups that will be involved in rebuilding homes, etc...The groups with laborers, carpenters, electricians...The know this will be a long process and a steady stream of help is going to be important after the MSM moves in to something else.
