If Trump wins

Do you think Kamala certifies the election?
-
Do you think the Dems in the House try to block it?
-
Do you think there’s another mob trying to stop the process?
- Yes.
- A few, but not enough.
- Riots in major cities, including D.C.
-
-
Another conclusion...If Trump wins, Kamala is through in national politics.
-
Let 'em burn.
I think Trump should apply the Hogwarts' Rule...Help will be given, if help is asked for.

But I will defend your right to stuff your in Cheetos regardless.
Gee, I've got him stuttering...
-
I don't think there will be any official resistance against a Trump victory in the forms of 1 or 2. Riots by the rabble, yes, to some extent. That's a given. Some of us will eagerly point them out and discuss them, and some of us will note clinically that they're a shame, then move along. (Or maybe blame them on Trump, because he's the reason for the anti-Trump mobs.) We all know who will be who.

Do not involve innocent Cheetos in this, infidel.
Don't worry, @Mik. As I said a few posts up, even though I myself don't like Cheetos, I will defend your right to stuff your [whatever] in Cheetos regardless.

@Jolly said in If Trump wins:

Nope he's more formal than that.
- Seppuku (切腹):
• Formal term: “Seppuku” is the more formal, ceremonial word. It comes from the characters “切” (setsu or “to cut”) and “腹” (fuku or “belly”).
• Samurai code: Seppuku was typically carried out by samurai to restore honor after dishonor, avoid capture, or as a form of capital punishment for serious crimes.
• Ritual: It involved a very strict procedure, often including cutting the abdomen, followed by a second who would deliver a beheading to ensure a quicker death.
• Honor: It was considered an honorable and noble way to die, deeply tied to the bushido (samurai) code. - Harakiri (腹切り):
• Colloquial term: “Harakiri” is a more casual and less formal term, derived from the same characters but reversed— “腹” (hara or “belly”) and “切り” (kiri or “cutting”).
• Common usage: Although the action is the same, harakiri is often used in casual speech or by non-Japanese speakers when referring to the act.
• Context: It’s typically used in more informal contexts and is less associated with the ceremony or honor than “seppuku.”
OTOH, who would be @Jon's second?

A few symbolically will vote against.
- Do you think there’s another mob trying to stop the process?
Not like 2021. There will be protests but no one is breaking into the capitol violently.

Grace is not your middle name.

No, they'll just burn the buildings in D.C.
-
Obviously, the Capitol will be better secured. There will be no more plausible deniability that a bunch of rentacops who will commit suicide if they are called upon to do their jobs and maybe get some owies in the process, are adequate to the task of defending our very democracy.
-
If it's good enough for Andrew Jackson...
-
He would have let them in, but he also would have shot each and every one of them that got violent.
-
And it will be an eternal mystery how, through all the violence of Jan 6, only one rioter was shot in self-defense, and that was a female who hadn't laid a hand on anybody. The practical effect of those 1000s of violent assaults was so minimal as to be almost miraculous. I mean except for the suicides in the coming days and weeks. Definitely the violence and terror, while producing scant actual injuries and only one discharged firearm, caused those suicides.
