No lack of First Ladies being featured on Vogue covers.
Maybe Doug Harris will make GQ's cover in the near future.
No lack of First Ladies being featured on Vogue covers.
Harris isn't First Lady.
- Lou Henry Hoover (1929): The earliest First Lady to be featured in Vogue. Though she was not on the cover, she was profiled in the magazine.
- Hillary Clinton (1998): Hillary Clinton became the first sitting First Lady to grace the cover of Vogue in December 1998. Her cover showcased her role in politics and public service.
- Michelle Obama:
• March 2009: Michelle Obama’s first cover appeared shortly after Barack Obama became President.
• April 2013: She was featured again in Vogue, emphasizing her role as a style icon and advocate for public health.
• December 2016: Her third cover celebrated her legacy as First Lady and highlighted her achievements. - Jill Biden (August 2021): Dr. Jill Biden graced the cover of Vogue in August 2021. The cover focused on her role as an educator and her contributions to the Biden administration.
