I assume Putin has total control of the buttons. Has anyone laid thought on his last gasp intentions if he ever becomes terminal? Will he die peacefully or unleash the Kraken just so he can see it? Or will it be our new policy to eventually let him have his Kiev pie and let him feel satisfied and let him know there will be no further advancement of that? Would that satisfy his craving to kill and conquer?

I suspect the Russians did not give him the launch button but the codes, like us. If Putin is starting the war, does the military comply, knowing the consequences? It’s not certain just as it would be with us.
Where are our Jason Bournes of the world today. Such information gathering is right down his alley. I only suggest him as he's not in a wheel chair quite yet like Bond. Queue my favorite sock of all time.......

I thought Saudi and Iran were kind of enemies?
Maybe there will be some "accidental" sinking of Iran ships.

Bear in mind I have supported destroying their nuclear weapons facilities for years.

Take out the whole theocratic government.
Search "Iran before the revolution" to see what this government has done to its population. I worked with several Iranians - all of whom are sorrowful over what the country became in the last 40 year.

Because they flew east by going up north over Syria into Iraq. To avoid going into Jordanian airspace. So the initial air defenses taken out were there. Then the next step was Iranian air defense. Then with air space secure, they went for other targets.
