If you do accept the friend request, you have to make sure it's not a scam. To do this, send them any money they may request. After sending, ask for the money back. If they don't send it back - they are a scam.
@Horace Actaully, I was listening to a podcast about con men, and alot of them, when they ask you for money teh first time, WILL pay you back. That way the next time they ask (usually for even more money) a person will be more agreeable. "They paid me back last time............."
