I heard through the grapevine Ochsner bought them for $300k. And assumed their debt. Twenty-five years ago, that was a thriving hospital.
When you close the state's indigent care hospitals (LSU Healthcare) and dump a lot more indigent, Medicaid and Medicare patients into mainstream healthcare, you kill hospitals.
