Do you measure the distance as a straight line through the Earth or trace a path on the surface?

Wow, who'd have thunk it? Once I've retired that would be a great way to visit. Although the actual prices aren't as low as he's quoting, it still looks pretty reasonable, about $1150 one way, which is roughly what we pay for a return flight.

            I was only joking

What maps app do you use?

If you don't take it, it can only good happen.

My parents moved away when I was in my early 20s. I’m pretty much like an orphan in a Dickens book.

                  Education is extremely important.

Regardless of map apps, consider one whose mother is living on the opposite side of Earth, the difference of their distances between a straight line through Earth and tracing a path on the surface of Earth may be off by a factor of π.

                      π/2.
