I’ve noticed that more and more people feel comfortable just saying ‘X’ without adding the ‘formerly Twitter’ caveat.

I occasional say ‘twitter’ and I’ll still say ‘tweet’ because there’s no X equivalent verb. But if I do say ‘on X’ I don’t feel the need to explain it.
