The sheriff allegedly walked into the judge's outer office, told court employees and others gathered there he needed to speak to Mullins alone.
He and Mullins then entered the judge's inner office, closed the door and those outside heard gunshots, according to The Mountain Eagle.
I'll reserve judgment until we get more information, but the only thing I can think of that would anger this sheriff so much during that very short conversation, is if the judge said something racist. If he did, then, I have to say - maybe he got what was coming to him. Racism is wrong.
