Surprisingly well. We got him at a place that has a HUGE rabbit pen where they can interact with people, so he was pretty well-behaved from the onset.
Our daughter is a bit too fast and full-on with him sometimes, but he just hides for about half a minute, and then he's out again.
Has he done a "Bunny-Flop" yet?
Haven't seen it, but he sprawls out quite often when he's petted.
As for the mess, I figure, why screw around? We put his pen on top of a thick tarp, of which we have two. Every other day when we let him out we just move the pen, take the tarp out, hose it down and use the other one until the first one dries.

I knew nothing about bunnehs until D3 got Mr. Whiskers. What a wonderful pet he was.
This photo actually made TMZ, iirc.
That is one fuzzy bunneh.

So cute! I had pet rabbits as a little kid and loved them. I think they tolerated me at best
Do you remember what kind?

Mr. Whiskers was an angora bunneh.

@Aqua-Letifer one was a big white one with red eyes, one was brown like a typical wild rabbit, and one was like your dude with lop ears. Beyond their colors and names (Alex, BunBun, and Raoul) I have no clue. They were all very sweet.
