Don't care for the Saturday morning super casual stuff (at least tuck your shirt in), but I agree with much of his message. I've heard the verses in Ezekiel preached several times over the years, even a little bit similar to this.
I do appreciate the weaving of Scripture in to support his preaching points, although I would like more exposition. But I understand why he's doing what he's doing.
As for the gist if the sermon, I find many points to agree with. He makes a better argument than I about voting for flawed candidates and I hope people took that message to heart. It's the only practical way for a Christian to address so many things in politics. There was only one perfect man and they nailed Him to a cross.
He does overstate the number if Evangelicals. The number referenced is self-described, by the widest criteria. By theological definition, I think that number is probably around 30M.
But that's quibble. I thought he preached a good sermon. Maybe Jon ought to give it a listen.
