Dont think there was a thread on this. Kind of sad in a way that we have become "immune" somewhat to things like this.

But 14 years old!!! Wow. I am not feeling sorry for him, but yet, his life is also over. I am sure life without parole. (But wasn't there a court rule that said you can't do that to juveniles? They have to be able to have parole hearing after a certain period of time?)

The suspect's father, Colin Gray, 54, was arrested on four counts of involuntary manslaughter, two counts of second-degree murder and eight counts of cruelty to children, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation said today. The charges against Colin Gray, who was arrested Wednesday and remains in custody, stem from him "knowingly allowing" his son Colt Gray to possess a weapon,

The suspect was a new student at Apalachee High, having only been there for a partial day. The day of the shooting was his first full day at the school, Barrow County Sheriff Jud Smith said.

I am guess that the recent Detroit similar situation was on their mind in charging the father.

Apparently cops visited Dad and son last year after a shooting threat on social media. Dad reported kid doesn’t have unsupervised access to his (dad’s) guns.

Apparently, the cops think the guns were not secured properly, after warning the father.

Hence, the charges.

Georgia school shooter Colt Gray was 'bullied for being gay'

Georgia school shooter Colt Gray was bullied by classmates who called him gay, his father told detectives in an interview last year.

Colin Grey, 54, made the claims when he was interviewed by the Jackson County Sheriff's office after the FBI received a tip that his son had threatened a shooting at his middle school.

'It was very difficult for him to go to school and not get picked on,' Colin Gray told an investigator, according to a transcript of the conversation obtained by DailyMail.com.

The father added: 'It went from one thing to another... I was trying to get him on the golf team... [they were like], "Oh, look, Colt's gay. He's dating that guy."

Well, they won't let anybody engage in a fair playground fight anymore, so at some point the outcast kid goes from 0 to 120 in a wink of an eye.

The FBI visited the dad last year about the sons threats to shoot up the school. Dad says he keeps the guns locked and kid has no access

Then for Christmas dad buys crazy ass son his own AR-15. AFTER the FBI visited your house saying your son wants to shoot up the school

Then son shoots up school.
