      I am sure there is broad bi-partisan agreement that SCOTUS can potentially wield power over issues that should be decided democratically. I guess the point of this thread is a whataboutism that a conservative once had issues with how the court operated, but I don't imagine Hawley would take much if any of this back, in principle, knowing what he knows today.

      The biggest conflagration caused by SCOTUS in recent memory, returned the power to legislate abortion to the states, which is along the lines of what he is arguing for in this piece.

      Education is extremely important.

            Agreed. Hawley is hardly unusual or unique in that regard.
