One of the comments talked about the architecture and superior acoustics of the building of the building and that it was a shame it was torn down.

True?

To be honest, all I ever saw at Syria Mosque was rock shows, so heavily amped that the acoustics were irrelevant. It was torn down the year before I became a union musician, but some of the guys I played with raved about it and lamented the loss.
