McDonald’s has released the statement saying that they have no record of Harris having ever worked for them. Who the hell lies about working at McDonald’s?

We have no record of McDonalds saying they have no record

You know...I'd think she'd have a photograph or somebody who used to work with her would remember her being on the job. I know that somebody remembers me from any school or part-time job I've ever had.

I spent almost a year working in a factory. I don't have any photos of the people I worked with - I don't even remember their names. Of course if one of them had been a presidential candidate that might stir my memories.
Someone commented that since McDonalds are franchises, it's unlikely that corporate would have a record.
But...
She never mentioned it until 2018. And then she had to walk back the story about "paying for college." If her story is true, she embellished it for a while. Something that this ticket seems to do a lot.

I worked in a papermill, for a pipeline company and for a sawmill while I was in college. I can still name at least six people from each job, and maybe more. And I am amazed at the people from those days that remember me, that I don't remember.
I had that happen to me last week at a funeral. A guy came up to me I hadn't seen since 1977 and had to tell me who he was before I remembered we'd worked together on the woodyard.
Kamala wasn't bad looking back in her day. I'm guessing some of the guys flipping burgers remember her.

Y’all still talking about this?
Shouldn’t there be a new non-troversy by now?
Trump's really fat. I blame McDonalds, and therefore by extension Kamala Harris for this.

Harris sets the record straight.
Amid Donald Trump’s baseless accusation that Kamala Harris was lying when she said she worked at a McDonald’s for one summer in the 1980s, the vice president emphatically stated during a Wednesday interview that she did, in fact, work there to help fund her schooling. “I have,” Harris told MSNBC anchor Stephanie Ruhle, who had asked: “At any point in your life have you served two all-beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions, on a sesame seed bun working at a McDonald’s?”
Ruhle: "Did you?"
Harris: "Yes."OK then...that settles it.
I have no idea whether she did or did not. But saying "Yup," is a stretch from setting the record straight - if, in fact there's even a record.
