      The original movie made money and has since become a cult classic. Reeves has always wanted to make a sequel, but the rights to the character were murky.

      Well, get ready...Constantine is coming back. Darker and R rated...

          I liked it. as one critic called it, "a one-of-a-kind hybrid: a theological noir action film". Reeve's character is a chain smoking cynic and a departure from the source material, fitting his demon hunter persona. The actress who plays Gabriel does a stunning job and the guy who plays Lucifer makes the most of limited screen time.

          Critics overall give it a "meh", but IMDB rates it a 7.0.
