Feeling much better today, temp normal with no tylenol. Curiously this one doesn't seem to be morphing into runny nose and bad congestion like the other times. Janet's still a day or so behind me, but she's downstairs now on the couch having coffee.
I think the cats are as upset as anyone. Their whole routine is off. Sat outside Janet's door all day.

Two. One rectal, one oral.
How do you tell them apart?
That's the one big advantage of Covid - you lose your sense of taste.

Um...not sure that particular example applies here.
But I've never lost taste or smell. Can't smell much because my nose is plugged up, but no loss of the sense.

Sounds like you’re out of the doghouse with this bout of the Wu-buggerenza.
Keep up with whatever you’re doing.

Yeah, it’s a little better every day. Not 100%, but functional.

Mik- are you guys testing frequently to see if you’re still positive?
-
wrote on 26 Aug 2024, 23:21 last edited by
No. I will probably test tomorrow just to see where we are.

Crap. Used an expired test and still tested positive. 9 days.

We have theatre tickets for Tuesday night and are trying to decide whether to give them away. I cannot accept possibly infecting someone else.

Mik - I genuinely appreciate your attitude about not infecting others.
I got my one Covid infection after an international conference in Dublin in April of 2023 that turned into a minor superspreader event. I got my first positive test after returning to the States, but others got theirs while still in Dublin.
The difference in attitudes among those that tested positive was astounding and in some cases surprising. Or at least revealing.
Some people’s top concern was quarantining to protect others. Other people just wanted to get home and they didn’t give a toss what it meant for others.

Anyone here not gotten COVID, as far as you know?

Good question George.
