A 60 day window is too long IMO. Two weeks should be plenty.

Yes, you've got a point. The entire British election campaign took less time than that.

Maybe that's worth a look if you want to save some money....

Nah. Then what would we talk about?

If you have a 60-day voting window, does everyone have the same opportunity?

Of course they do. Nobody's being forced to vote at any given time, and everybody gets to vote once.

I don't really understand the obsession with this issue. If there is voter fraud, then deal with it, but having a voting window doesn't discriminate against anybody. People are free to make mistakes, and regret them at their leisure.

I agree. This issue does not favor one party vs. the other party.

Kind of like a marathon race where the weather is really bad, and a racer complains about the weather. If he was only one running, okay. But everybody is competing in the same conditions,

If more Democrat vote early, so what? The choice is open to Republics also.

Look back to 2016. The FBI released a statement on Sec. Clinton about reopening the investigation of her. This happened a week(?) before the election. Some people say that this turned the election in favor of President Trump.

It is an equal footing for both sides. If I buy a plane ticket and the price goes up in the next week, my friend may complain. But, the price could also go down. and I would be mad. It is what it is. We both have equal freedom to buy plane tickets (or vote) within the available period.

I just don't see this being an issue.

Are you familiar with ZuckBucks? Or Biden's Executive Order 14019? Are you aware that those huge sums of money are spent in primarily Democrat majority districts? Are you aware that the Dems spend huge sums of campaign money in those districts harvesting mail-in ballots (where legal)?

You see nothing wrong in this?

Is there something to stop President Trump from spending some of his billions and billions of dollars doing the same thing?

I may not agree with it, but if the rules are the same for both sides, then it is what it is. Massive spending by rich individuals or companies is certainly not a good thing. What did President Trump do during his first term to stop this?
