I saw one take off at the EAA years ago.
Everyone was moving toward the runway and I asked why.
"U2's about to take off."
I wasn't close enough to see the takeoff roll, but I saw it when it was about 100 feet up. And then, it pitched its nose up and was gone - just like that.
Impressive climb.

Today's satellite imagery can probably give higher resolution photos than the U2 was able at the time.
That said, put todays satellite image capturing capabilities in a U2 and you might have something.
