Not that I don't believe Temu (or any app coming out of mainland China) can be a Trojan horse and/or national security risk, but I was hoping for a more technical report on what testing was done and what evidence was gathered that shows that the app is doing clandestine nefarious things. Wired magazine or Tom's Hardware are usually good at reporting this sort of things among popular press. Cybersecurity/malware bulletins from CISA or similar organizations would also be nice.

Where is the evidence?

Several of the things the article claims the app does should not be possible, so the technical details would be quite interesting.
