Should be cheaper than colonoscopy, right? Would be silly for insurance to not cover this if this reduces cost compared to colonoscopy.
This was in testing when I was working for the Cologuard folks. I knew it would crush their cash cow.
But it’s still no more accurate and just as prone to false positives.

I’ve got a cologuard kit here winking at me and reminder emails coming every few days.
Last time I rode the black snake there were some polyps, so Cologuard and Shield are out of the question for me.

Sorry, I looked at the article again - 87% accuracy and 10% false positive.
Cologuard detects 92% of cancers and has a 13 % false positive.
So about 1 out of 8 need to have a colonoscopy for followup.
