Sunday we’re going to the New York Air Show. I got VIP seats right off the runway. Our section includes free lunch, and free beverages (including beer) for the entire event.

It’s in Orange County, about 40mi north and west of me. They don’t exactly allow jet acrobatics over Manhattan.

Nice! Lucas is going to be back for Sat-Tuesday, and it will be his last trip up before he gets buried for his senior year. So I’m taking the weekend off. We might go to an amusement park or go to the Prince William Fair. Karla and I are getting a date night out of Saturday (Lucas and his girl are watching Finley) on Tiesday, I plan on renting a boat on Lake Anna…

I stopped at the Orange County airport one time for fuel and lunch, they had a small restaurant.

I had to adjust my course to avoid an old man who should have stopped flying years ago. He had lunch there too.

And by golly, I also have enough beer to drink throughout the whole show.
