Just sorta skimmed thru this video. I've always enjoyed Frank Langella's work.

But this makes me not want to invest my time in this...

      Oh...

"On Rotten Tomatoes the film has an approval rating of 43% based on reviews from 94 critics, with an average rating of 5/10. The consensus reads, "Even though the film is stylish and atmospheric, critics say The Ninth Gate meanders aimlessly and is often ludicrous. And despite the advertising, there's hardly any chills."[16] On Metacritic it has a score of 44 out of 100 based on reviews from 30 critics, indicating "mixed or average reviews".[17] Audiences surveyed by CinemaScore gave the film a grade "D−" on scale of A to F"

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

Great movie. If one was to go to an "old book store" in NYC this movie caught the vibe. The origin book "The Club Dumas" by Arturo Pérez-Reverte was a lot more intricate and really expanded the details of the story. On the other hand Lena Olin took off her pants in the movie. Probably one of the sexiest women alive. Can't argue with that.

I think that screen shot was from when Langella played Skeletor in a live action He-Man movie. I think the reference was tongue in cheek in context.
