My "trial subscription" to Apple Music has expired, and I have to say, I'm very pleased with it and will continue it, probably dumping Spotify.

What I like about it is the fact that music that I have ripped from CD's that's not in Apple's catalog will be uploaded to MY cloud account, and I can access them wherever I want. Spotify won't do that. So, I was able to upload music from my favorite New Orleans Jazz band and have it available.

    Also: Siri.

On my Mac, "Hey Siri, play Bach French Suites on Apple Music" and Murray Perahia's performance (a CD I bought) starts playing.

"Hey Siri, play Clementi piano sonatas on Apple Music" and a recording that I don't have starts playing.

    Nice.

I was able to transition my playlists from Spotify to Apple music seamlessly too.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

I’m too lazy to switch from Spotify but today I probably would have made a different choice.

@George-K your second reason is why I stick with Spotify.

Apple Music doesn’t work with 3rd party voice recognition.

We have a bunch of google home devices and the voice recognition is WAY better for Indian artists.
