“Cry havoc and let slip the DOGE of war!”

Those who cheered as J-6 American prisoners were locked in solitary for 18 months without trial, now suddenly fight tooth and nail for foreign terrorists’ "due process". — Buck Sexton

They don't look particularly devastated to me. It's amazing what sometimes passes for news.

      I was only joking

Read the copy. Apparently he was cursing while Don, Jr. was up....

          Good for him.

The more I read about Vance the more disappointed I am.

After watching and hearing both Vance’s and Trump’s crowd harangues last week, my conclusion is that their - and the Convention floor’s - vision of the future US is a that of a return to Happy Days and Dallas combined. The big question is which one is The Fonze if the other is JR?

            Edit:

As an aside, it is pretty clear that Melania Trump, fits the role of Kay Adams-Corleone.

            But that’s another story….

              Gee, what do you want?

              Psalm 146...

3 Do not put your trust in princes,
in human beings, who cannot save.
              4 When their spirit departs, they return to the ground;
on that very day their plans come to nothing.
5 Blessed are those whose help is the God of Jacob,
whose hope is in the Lord their God.

IOW, man is not perfect. He can't be. We can only try to find somebody we think is doing more right than the other fellow and even then, disappointment sometimes awaits.

Regardless of lessons and poetry of the ancients, there was a convention full of people in Milwaukee last week who are convinced they have found their Moses.

Some of us are heading down the path of becoming permanent conscientious objectors to voting in American presidential elections.

                    Education is extremely important.
