      Interesting. It's already amazing that we're buying bigger and better tvs than people in the 1950s bought - and for much less money.

        Today's TVs are disposable.

        I bought a rear-projection 36" TV back in the mid 1980s.

          We're thinking of replacing our main TV. Max we can use is 50". $225 for a 50" Roku TV.
