Secret Service under fire

That list of questions seems to be designed to further and/or debunk conspiracy theories. The hearing is about USSS incompetence.

The opening statement by the GOP senator focused on the SS and its failings, while the opening statement from the Dem senator focused on guns, mass shootings, and authoritarian political violence. He mentioned a "mass shooting" at a club the same night as Trump was shot. The words "gang violence" were not used.

It is painful listening to this professional avoider of questions. I guess that's her core competency as the figurehead of an agency that might have some explaining to do.

I would bet a lot of money that he was acting alone. This director doesn't need a reason to deflect questions to others.

The distance between her claim that the buck stops with her, and her inability to answer any questions or take any responsibility for any specific decisions, is just monumental and pathetic.

Dumpster fire of an incident, dumpster fire of a coverup. I guess she'll stay until the news cycle moves on, then she'll resign.
