I disagree with Kelly Paul. Not about being mad that Rep Pelosi's daughter tweeted that, but calling out the Rep Pelosi for her daughters tweet.
Her daughter is probably 40 or 50 years old and her own person. People love their kids, even when they do stupid things. May disagree with them, may wish they never acted the way they did, but without direct evidence, I don't think it is fair. Rep. Pelosi has done enough/said enough stupid things in her life, but this is not one of them.
This is not the DPRK, where if somebody does something wrong, two generations on either side are also guilty and punished accordingly.
Christine Pelosi is a Democratic operative in California's Democrat Party. You bet your sweet ass Nancy Pelosi has power over her daughter's public writings.

And that's precisely the point. Pelosi's daughter rejoiced in the attack on a US Senator.

A now-deleted Facebook post by a staffer of Mississippi's lone Democrat congressman appeared to support the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump on Saturday.
The deleted post by Jacqueline Marsaw, a field director for U.S. Rep. Bennie Thompson, D-Mississippi, said "I don't condone violence but please get you some shooting lessons so you don't miss next time ooops [sic] that wasn't me talking."

At least we’re only seeing posts from people nobody’s heard of.
But I doubt that will last.

@George-K @Jolly I agree that what Rep Pelosi's daughter wrote was terrible and she (the daughter) should be condemned for that. But to assume that the mother pre-checks things that her 40 or 50 years old daughter post on social media (especially when she was Speaker of the Congress at that time).
I get it - it is perception, but still..........

Do you not know how politics and political machines work?

I’m in Greenwich CT of all places and there’s a woman walking around here with a Trump ‘Never Surrender’ t-shirt that actually has a photo of him surrendering on it.

Dumbass.

How about including apologetics for the Secret Service amongst the foul reactions? Here’s a retired agent on Fox News making two points and not granting, yet, that any important mistakes were made:
Link to video-
The range the sniper teams were surveillng might have been very large. The rooftop the shooter occupied, even though it was the closest rooftop to Trump, was still only a very small piece of the area the snipers were responsible for.
-
The secure perimeter may not have extended to that closest rooftop. Maybe the Secret Service subcontracted that area out to local law enforcement.
So basically there are no justifications for the security lapse that would pass the sniff test of a child.
I don’t think there was any intentional lapse here, I just think we have to recalibrate our esteem for the secret service over this. This was a fucking joke of a catastrophic face plant.

Speaking of foul reactions, NBC is airing a new interview with Biden..on the first night of the GOP convention. I think that's foul. During which he defends his bullsyeye comments. Now, I think he is honest when he says it meant to focus on Trump, but you can't condemn the other side's rhetoric and not take responsibility for your own.

It’s a reasonable question, if somewhat poor taste.
