Had I wanted to, I could have nailed Clinton back in the 90's. In those days, I could hit a bowling pin at 300 yards. I was watching him from a third floor window as he was speaking in front of Air Force One, distance probably 300-400 yards.

Wasn't a single Secret Service agent in the building. There were a couple of sheriff deputies.

I was astounded at the lack of security at that distance.

Watching the video of the event, it appears that Trump quickly took evasive action - but I was surprised at how long it took for 1) Secret Service to get on stage and 2) get him off the stage. If that guy was a better shot, this might have ended differently.
