Been awhile since I heard that term...

“Cry havoc and let slip the DOGE of war!”

Those who cheered as J-6 American prisoners were locked in solitary for 18 months without trial, now suddenly fight tooth and nail for foreign terrorists’ "due process". — Buck Sexton

Apparently it’s so bad that they can’t afford to proofread, let alone hire an editor.

It's a blog post, not the NYT.

(Not that they are perfect, either). There may come a time in the very near future where you'll long for human mistakes.

Even if the unemployment number was 0, public perception is that it is very tough to make ends meet, and little cause for optimism. Biden represents “more of the same” to Trump’s “I can make things great again.” Even if Trump might make things drastically worse, many people are angry and just want the “elite” to feel their pain. Trump’s message resonates strongly. The Democratic message needs a dramatic refocusing - and an inarticulate gaff master spouting vernacular from the 1930s hardly seems like a credible candidate to do that.

              @kluurs I agree.

I have this before, but one of the presidents main "duties" is to be a cheerleader for the country. Some do it better than others, and make not-so-good times seem okay. And the opposite can be true also.

I might have told this story here before. I’m acquainted with a woman who now has a column on the op-ed page of the Times and was formerly a high level editor there.

She once texted me with a there/their error. Which she promptly corrected.

It made me feel better about the similar errors I’ve made.

                Only non-witches get due process.

Ok...Local Facebook post...Guy posted a screenshot of his Walmart grocery order from early 2022 and the exact same order done recently.

                  $270 vs. $400.

                  Nobody doubted it ...

The inarticulate gaff master (never underestimate Joe’s ability to fuck things up) is proposing and enacting policies that double down on the causes of the fucking problem…

“Hey Joe, we need to get money out of the M1”

“Okay. Let’s let kids stop paying off their loans. That will help!”

                        It’s a revenue generator.

There’s a bit of a distance between 6.8% and 68%… The typo can explain once, but multiple times?

If they can’t take the time to read their shit, why should I?
