One of the reasons that I was considering visiting Cornwall on our UK trip was to visit St. Michael’s Mount and then going to Normandy for Mont-Saint-Michel. I didn’t realize there was more…

The year I lived in Paris, my parents came over for a week and we toured Normandy. We entered and climbed Mont-Saint-Michele which is when I realized how bad my Dad’s emphysema was. He had quit smoking 7 years earlier.

Of course a decade later mine was even worse.

And at the other end of the line, Skellig Michael also called Great Skellig

Made famous as Luke's home later in life in the movie Star Wars: The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi.

I can't read the thread on X, so the gist of it escapes a bit to me: all churches/chapels refer to St Michael except Stella Maris in Israel. So what does the straight line mean? Looking on a globe (not a map) this no longer is a straight line. 🤷
PS: I visited Skellig last year, was magnificent😇
