Hiya everyone, I hope everyone is well. I'm great--except the being older thing is going on with me, but otherwise fine. My kids are great one got out of Florida and moved to NYC like a bat out of hell as soon as she got her MBA (BM in piano performance on the underside) and we downsized to a smaller house but were not allowed to get rid of the piano so it sits taking up a good chunk of the room. My wife doesn't let me play when she's home (I seem to lack some basic capabilities that make my performances a less than pleasurable experience) so the piano's a giant bar cart, which is ok, too. The other kid is in Seattle after doing getting a degree in culinary arts and taking a two year cooking tour of Europe. I'm really interested in Late Baroque theorbo (I don't quite own one yet--it seems they aren't readily available, so I play as best I can on the guitar. [There's this thing where having a hot little number belting out Barbara Strozzi tunes might be nice to have too, but I'm probably not going to get one of those too soon :-(]. ) Otherwise, I'm kind of a happy boy these days.

It's good to be back here. I miss you folks.

Vintage from the 90's. It's a keeper though.

A National is always a keeper. I thought it was older; a wood bodied Duolian if I recall.

Eight years ago I managed to get hold of a brand new National Style 1 German silver Tricone at a liquidation/estate sale for about 50% of its actual value.

Having your kids do well is likely the greatest happiness one might have. Glad to hear that’s the case!
