What a terrible story. My neck of the woods.

I remember Donald Trump bringing the immigration thing to my attention in 2016. I thought it was a bizarre concern, I was so unacquainted with it. Now he only seems prescient.

It amazes me that people think that President Trump did a great job in reducing the number of illegal immigrants coming to the US, when if you look at the numbers, on average, President Obama did as good, if not better job than president Trump. (and yes, it has gotten much worse under President Biden but that still does not change teh fact that the numbers under President Trump were not any better than under President Obama (who in better than under President Bush))

I lost 38% in the stock market during the Obama presidency. At the very last of Obama's presidency and through Trump's presidency until COVID, our economy was doing quite well. Yet, still less illegals were coming in under Trump, even though people in power were trying to keep the border more open.
So answer me this...Why are people illegally crashing out border in a down economy and high inflation?
