        I support legal immigration, within certain limits.

        I feel like this is an issue worthy of discussion.

          BTW, Trump has never been anti-immigration. He is against illegal immigration.

            This is a good idea but you’d have to police it to make sure fly by night degree green card factories don’t emerge.

              Yes, so worthy that Hillary Clinton proposed something similar back in 2016:

                  Also one wonders about unintended consequences. You already hear complaints about schools giving so many spots to Chinese and other foreigners who pay full freight.

                  How much would the demand increase if the degree came with a green card?

                    I read a transcript of an interview he gave. He actually proposes it even for two year degrees.

                    So any foreigner can come in, do two years at a community college and get a green card?

                    Nah, that won’t be abused.

                      And just like that, Trump University returns…

                            @Axtremus

                            Yes, but only because provincial governments fail to regulate the private post secondary education institutions that take advantage of the opportunity and the Federal government issues student visas without question for registered foreign students to attend those facilities. The majority of those “schools” are exclusive to foreign students and the alleged credentials are at best, dubious.
